History of Kalamazoo Optometry, P.C.:

Kalamazoo Optometry, P.C. is a professional corporation that was started in the mid 1930s by Dr. Harry B. Sofen. He was joined by Dr. Robert L. Klein in 1966 and a partnership was formed known as Drs. Sofen and Klein Optometric Office.
The practice continued to grow and in 1971 Dr. Robert L. Unser joined the practice. In 1974, the office known as Drs. Sofen, Klein and Unser changed its location from 148 W. Michigan Ave to 241 E. Michigan Ave and also changed its name to Kalamazoo Optometry, P.C.
In 1975, with the retirement of Dr. Sofen, Dr. James A. Adams joined the practice as a contact lens and sports vision specialist.
In 2003, Dr. Marie L. Fox joined the practice as a pediatric and ocular disease specialist.

In 2001, Kalamazoo Optometry, PC moved its main office to 6101 Newport Rd. Ste. A. We are now located in the Newport Building in Portage off of Milham Rd.
